Who is behind Whimsy Play Café?
Hi!
I’m Tiffany.
I’ve spent the past few years dreaming up Whimsy Play Café — from our playful class offerings to our cozy interior and even the baked goods we’ll one day serve. It has been a longtime dream of mine to create a space where early childhood education and parental support intersect. Whimsy is that dream come true.
My Background:
With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, I bring a blend of international teaching and creative practice to Whimsy:
11 years as a preschool teacher & school administrator in Los Angeles & Paris
4 of these years spent in bilingual & international schools in Paris
Specialized in Reggio Emilia–style education, with additional Montessori & Waldorf influences
Taught musical theatre (ages 3–6) and ecology (ages 3–11) as extra-curricular and co-curricular classes
Have also worked as a full-time nanny for babies and as a child & family photographer
Currently living my most important role yet: mama to my nearly 1-year-old son 💛
I’m Passionate About…
Whimsy is shaped by the things I value most:
Early childhood education & learning through play
Involving nature in learning
Creative expression & the freedom to get messy
Building community
Hands-on projects & open-ended activities
Documenting learning beautifully, through photos & stories
Parents & teachers as co-learners alongside children
Supporting parental involvement and education
Early immersive language learning
My Vision for Whimsy Play Café:
At Whimsy Play Café, families in Nice will find a warm, welcoming space for play, creativity, and connection. Classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are already beginning — and in early 2026, we’ll open the doors to our very own Play Café. A place to sip coffee, share stories, and watch your little one grow through joyful play.
